Law is a challenging field of study. While most of our students complete their degrees without problematic levels of stress, we are committed to your wellbeing throughout your studies. ANU Law enables access to a range of in-house and external support services to help you successfully complete your studies.

Public online services

ACT

The ACT law society provides free, confidential, counselling services to its members through Relationships Australia. Access is available for ACT law society members through BarCare.

Public crisis line

National

Lifeline Crisis Chat provides real time, confidential one-to-one chat with a Lifeline Online Crisis Supporter, for short-term support for people who are overwhelmed and having difficulty coping or staying safe.

8pm - 12am every day (AEST)

Lifeline Suicide Prevention connects people with care by providing services in Crisis Support and Mental Health Support. Available 24/7/365
