Financial assistance
FEE-HELP
Australian students (and permanent humanitarian visa holders and some New Zealand citizens) may be eligible to apply for FEE-HELP, the Australian Government loan scheme that assists students with paying their tuition fees. For more information, see the ANU FEE-HELP page, or visit StudyAssist.
Support for Indigenous students
The ANU School of Legal Practice together with the National Centre for Indigenous Studies, may offer up to two awards known as the Indigenous Students' Practical Legal Training Scholarship. The objective of the award is to support Indigenous students who want to undertake practical legal training, which is required to become admitted as a lawyer. The award aims to offset some of the financial burden of undertaking this professional legal training. The award covers tuition fees for the duration of the student's Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer.
The award is available each year to a prospective student who:
- is an Australian citizen and a member of the Indigenous community;
- has received an offer of admission for the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice
For more information and to apply, please visit the Indigenous Students' PLT scholarship page in the central ANU website.
