ANU Legal Workshop lecturer, Elizabeth Lee has been awarded a prestigious scholarship to participate in a leadership program in Shanghai.
The StudyCanberra/Yellow Edge Scholarship is awarded to just two people annually and allows recipients to examine the world’s two biggest markets – China and India – from a business, social, economic and government perspective.
Elizabeth will participate in the Global Leadership Practice Program conducted in partnership with the respected China Executive Leadership Academy Pudong (CELAP).
This ground-breaking program is for Australian leaders keen to equip themselves with invaluable insights into the workings and thinking of one of two of the world's biggest markets vital to Australia's long-term economic wellbeing.
The program allows participants to test and challenge assumptions of leadership, and reflect on what it means to be an Australian leader in a global world.
The scholarship will give Elizabeth the opportunity to play a key role in promoting Canberra as Australia’s university town and the ANU College of Law as Australia’s national law school.
At ANU Legal Workshop, Elizabeth Lee teaches in the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and the Master of Legal Practice programs, in the areas of Civil and Commercial Practice, Becoming a Practitioner and the Legal Aid Clinic.
